Evolving from it’s early inception as a family owned business in 1971, the Delplant Group has delivered over 40 years of quality construction and maintenance services on pipeline assets across the Victorian Civil Industry. Operating throughout Metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria, Delplant completes in excess of 150 to 200 projects annually, laying over 125 kilometres of pipelines every year.

Today Delplant is located at its modern office/factory in Narre Warren and has grown to employ over 50 highly skilled and accredited staff and is supported by a team of expert subcontractors. Its services range from pipeline construction and maintenance, plumbing and plant hire through to heavy haulage, and confined space entry work.

Delplant have a very hands on management style to ensure open communication is established and maintained between all stakeholders throughout the life its projects. The team consist of fully trained and accredited project engineers, works surveyors, supervisors, pipelayers, plant operators and dedicated maintenance crews, all backed up by a fully equipped workshop and a senior management team known throughout the industry. The Group promotes a co-operative working environment to create the foundation needed to successfully run projects of this scope.

Utilising the latest project management technology, almost all of Delplant’s delivery resources are now provided internally, allowing clients access to any or all services from the one company. This translates into more efficient and cost effective solutions for clients, reduced administration costs, and the ease of only having to deal with one contractor on a project.

With an annual turnover in excess of $20 million dollars, Delplant are truly one of the industry’s great success stories, and this is reflected by the calibre of clients that it regularly services. The Delplant Group services an array of mainly water business and land development industry clients, such as, Pellicano Builders, Australand, Bayport Group, South East Water, City West Water, and BMD Constructions. Delplant has received numerous awards for its outstanding service and contribution to the industry. The company has gone from strength to strength in its ability to deliver projects of increasing scale and complexity. Some of the more notable accolades include the Ken Edgley Medal received in 2011 for continuous outstanding contribution and commitment to the CCF Victoria and the civil construction industry. Delplant were also finalists in both the 2005 and 2006 The Age/Dun & Bradstreet Victorian Business Awards for Building and Allied Services. The Group is also a current member of the Civil Contractors Federation (CCF), the Urban Development Institute of Australia (UDIA) and the Housing Industry Association (HIA).
